Design & Build:: Low Level Design
The devil is in the details
This is where we develop naming standards, patching schedules, power budgets, equipment configurations and cabinet layout designs. This requires many years of experience - knowing what works, and knowing what doesn't. It's also about understanding what factors are important to the success of your project, and ensuring that they are all present and accounted for.
All of Qube Networks installation fees include a full carrier-class design and build phase, which means that not only will your infrastructure become more tidy, more reliable, and more easily maintained - it also means that your service will not be compromised by neighbouring clients with faulty infrastructure - something that in many co-location / hosting centres is completely outside of your control. Not so with Qube Networks - all of our client's infrastructure has been installed by our own in-house engineers according to our rigidly enforced carrier-class standards.
To continue the analogy of building your dream house - this phase is rather like retaining a draftsman to take the architect's grand vision, and turn it into the technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials, that the building industry can understand and work with. The draftsman will know what size beam is required to support that magnificent window.
Get it right, and the build will go well, and you will end up with a house that closely resembles your original vision. Get it wrong, and it's not pretty.
