Remote hands support is offered at all Qube colocation facilities and is part of our standard colocation service offering.

Specific remote hands services that we can provide include:

• On-site technical assistance in the data centre
• Visual verification to assist remote troubleshooting efforts
• Racking and cabling of new equipment
• Cable management and tidy up of infrastructure
• Removable media management (tapes, CDs, DVDs, USB Drives)
• Power cycling or resetting you equipment
• Providing status or typing commands into a console
• Diagnostics and testing of equipment

How Can I Request Remote Hands Services?

Customers can request scheduled or unscheduled remote hands services at all colocation facilities and are arranged via support ticket or telephone. Remote hands services for colocation customers are charged for by the hour. You must be an authorized technical contact to submit support requests. Emergency remote hands and short-notice support requests are covered by our 24/7 call-out service.
