Qube VMware Cloud Servers: Transparency and certainty on your monthly billing – these are clearly defined and easy to understand so no hidden extras.		Amazon EC2: Even though upfront costs may appear low, you are billed on many different aspects of your environment which all add up. Knowing your monthly costs can be difficult. Amazon EC2: Optional faster block storage has additional costs. You are billed for data storage AND disk data transfer.

Qube VMware Cloud Servers: We can assist you with migration to and from our cloud platform. We use standard VMware formats and you can easily migrate your server instances away if you need to.		Amazon EC2: Proprietary server images. Not transparent and not easy to get your data back out once moved onto the EC2 platform.
Networking & IP Addresses:
Qube VMware Cloud Servers: Qube provides you with a static, public IP address for every cloud server if necessary (we can also do NAT and VPN's).		Amazon EC2: Amazon instances get a non-persistent, private IP that is NATed to a public IP. This adds complexity and means mapping multiple machines to an IP.
